It provides flexibility for the purchaser to assign tickets at a later time, improving the overall event registration experience.
Why use unassigned tickets?
Unassigned tickets offer several benefits for both organizers and attendees. This feature is particularly useful for events with multiple attendees or corporate events where tickets are purchased in bulk but the details of all attendees are not immediately available.It provides flexibility for the purchaser to assign tickets at a later time, improving the overall event registration experience.
How unassigned tickets work
A company purchases 20 tickets for an industry conference but doesn’t have the details for all employees attending. Instead of waiting until they have all attendee data, they can click the “This ticket is for someone else” checkbox, which allows the purchaser to indicate that they are buying tickets for others. They don’t need to fill in personal information for each attendee at the point of purchase. This saves time and ensures that the registration process moves forward without delay. Once tickets are purchased, the purchaser can later log into the system, view the unassigned tickets, and input the required attendee details such as name, email, and any additional custom form fields.Managing unassigned tickets
