An overview of the registration page builder on Zuddl
Zuddl provides a powerful landing page and registration site builder. The platform offers a full suite of design tools, pre-built widgets, and customizable templates—enabling both novice users and experienced designers to create immersive, high-conversion event pages without writing code.
The registration page builder allows organizers to launch event registration pages using fully customizable templates. Multiple starter templates are available—each with a distinct layout or theme—which can be edited using a drag-and-drop visual editor. The builder interface includes a global topbar and sidebar for navigation and layout management. Organizers can preview, publish, or switch pages, as well as access device-specific views (desktop, tablet, mobile) for responsive editing. All elements placed within the content editor follow a grid-based row-and-column structure. Layouts are responsive by default and editable independently per device. The platform supports granular row-level customization, including resizing, styling, column splits (up to 4 per row), and individual element design overrides. Edits can be applied either globally (via theme settings) or locally at the widget or content level.
Pages and popups are centrally managed within the Pages module. Each site includes default pages such as Home, About, Service, Team, and Contact. Organizers can edit existing pages or create new ones. Popups—interactive overlays prompting user action—can also be created, customized, and placed within flows as needed.Templates can be renamed, saved as new versions, or previewed across devices. Sponsor and Basic templates are restricted from renaming but can be customized and saved as new templates.
Widgets are at the core of Zuddl’s event page design system. Users can drag and drop widgets into any section, customize their content and styling, and configure device-specific behaviors such as visibility, spacing, and animation. Right-click menus provide additional options like copy-paste, alignment, and hide-by-device.Key registration-specific widgets include:
Flex Registration WidgetEmbeds the full registration flow into the landing page. This widget mirrors the organizer-configured registration logic and can be embedded on third-party websites using a sticky header identifier (data-zuddl-sticky-header-id).
Ticketing WidgetEnables users to initiate ticket purchases from the registration page. Only available for live, ticketed events with active ticket tiers. For upcoming events, the widget redirects users to the full registration flow; for ongoing events, interactive purchase options appear inline.
Helpdesk WidgetAvailable if Helpdesk is enabled from the dashboard. Adds live support access directly on the registration page.
Schedule WidgetDisplays the event schedule. Requires sessions to be created first in the agenda section. Customizable in layout, format, and visibility.
Speakers WidgetShowcases event speakers. Requires prior setup of speaker details within the platform and allows customization of order, visibility, and styling.
Sponsor Widget
Lets you include information about your event sponsors on your registration page or embed it your own website as required
Additional widgets—such as text, images, buttons, and social integrations—can also be configured using the same drag-and-drop interface.
Only one registration page can be live at a time. When a new page is published, the currently active page is automatically unpublished, and the new page takes over the existing URL—avoiding any broken links or 404s.Pages can only be published from within the editor interface. Unpublishing and renaming options are available from the template listing view. Organizers can also preview how each template renders across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).Publishing automatically applies the site under the assigned domain. To view the published site, users can click the link icon in the editor and select between the attendee or speaker landing pages.
Note: SSO-based login is not supported on custom registration pages created using the visual editor.
